The Block    2011

5 minutes

The Block was made with young people on the project 'Seeing Through' at Tate Britain in 2011. Over a period of six months young people from Ealing, Harrow and Westminster used Tate Britain?s architectural history and the collection displays as inspiration to examine the themes of horror and the Uncanny. They worked with a wide range of media to capture their responses, experiences, and sense of place within the historical landscape of the gallery and of Millbank. The sound for this film was made by Dark Vibra.
